This ever popular 3 hour mosaic workshop is perfect for anyone wishing to dip their toes into the wonderful world of mosaic. You will learn how to cut and nibble tiles using mosaic tile nippers and will be taught about all the various materials that are best suited for mosaic. Emma will teach you the skills required to design and make your own mosaic bird and you will leave with your completed masterpiece and all the mosaic know how so that can continue on your creative journey at home.
To get the most out of this experience participants are encouraged to bring along a decorative piece of china that can be incorporated into their work. Charity shops are a haven of teacups and saucers making a great starting point. All additional tools and materials are provided.
Tea, coffee and lovely cake will fuel your two hours. Expect to be greeted by the overexcited resident dachshunds Mr Pickles and Scrabble as well as the two giant Norwegian Forest Cats! If you have an allergy to cats let Emma know and the area will be made into a cat free zone!
